Welcome, ladies! This week you had to submit a photo that showed your modelling potential, let's see how you did?
Britney
Jensen- the biggest concern I think a lot of people are going to have with this is that he photo is too small. Granted there are good things about it you can tell because of the size
Allison: Oh, Britney, I think you can do better than this . I like your connection to the camera, but that's about it. It should be bigger, that white spaces on the side should be cropped off, and I would have loved full body. I'm not a fan, sadly.
Twiggy: This is such a shame, the size is too small for us to judge. Should this be a bigger size photo, I could see a few things that I'd like. What the heck are you thinking?
Jared: I wouldn't care a whole lot about the size if it wasn't so bright and whitewashed or over exposed or whatever, it hurts my eyes to look at it.

with that said. the problem i have with freestyle photo shoots. Is that it always seems to begin the same. little connection to the camera.
another problem i have with this photo is that you seem to far back in the picture i could understand it being a little closer and having an idea of what im looking at the other problem with being so far away from the camera is that it hurts the perspective the judges can see when looking for facial hints and such.
Allison: I do see elegance here, but that's more through that beautiful dress. I like that you went with a profile, but your expression looks... odd. You look grumpy and like you don't want to be here.
Twiggy: first of all, props to you for taking risk. I like this! I love the elegance, mysterious feels to this photo. It works! Nice job.
Jared: I really like this picture. But as a picture. For freestyle we wanted modeling coming from you celebs and I really only think your dress is modeling. The picture is gorgeous, but compared with Alison's example, there's no modeling.
Emma
Jensen: I saw this earlier and I was thinking about it since then. I think my biggest thing is I don't see high fashion just by looking at it and there is a lot going on in the picture. You have the prop, the bag, the clothing. All these elements with each other but not really working in complete harmony. I think it'll be enough to get you to next round though
Allison: I like this. I don't love it, but I like this. There's a lot going on in the pic, like Jensen said, but I'm digging the pose. I think the face could be a bit more present, you look a little confused, though. You did well, however!
Twiggy: I would want you to chin up a little and show me your neck. The pose is rather awkward but in a good way & there's too much going on in the photo. Show me some skin, you're covered up in a very unflattering outfit which doesn't do you any justice. But this okay for me.
Jared: I hate the outfit, but it's so high fashion, it works. Your pose is cutesy. I like that. I like that you seem to be showing off your shoes. It's your face and expression that aren't working for me. Maybe if you had broken yourself down a bit more and showed some fierce emotion, then I'd be in love.
Hyorin
jensen- first off welcome to the competition.
freestyle gives people a chance to showcase what they love and i think that from looking at this i cant tell what that something is from you.
my problems with this picture are mainly your head angle and the logo in the picture. other then those i feel it would be a ok picture
Allison: This is very commercial, which I like. The head angle is weird, you look like you have no neck. I still like it a lot, though! The watermark is a little distracting but isn't bad, and you are working those shoes. Nice work
Twiggy: Your left hand was positioned in a very weird way and your smile seems forced to me. It feels like you were moving and posing non stop and the photographer manage to snap this. This is a good commercial shoot and that's about it but I like your leg in this though.
Jared: This is cute. The pose I like. Your head, not so much, like Col........ooops, Jensen said, the angle isnt' working. Also your white shirt and the white back ground, your shirt starts to disappear. Keep an eye on that. Actually, what was edited out? There's a huge blotch of white that shouldn't be white lol Just wondering what as originally there.

Allison: I don't know what's with this round but a lot of your guys's expressions are just weird. I really like your pose and your outfit, but you look sleepy. Other then that though, good job!

Jared: Wow, Jessica. At first I was like, ok, she's my favourite but I'm so bored of judging her, but then I look, and.........it's something new!!! And I love new. Don't worry I'm not going to rank you bad because I get bored but I love to see new stuff. Your pose is sexy, your eyes are shooting bedroom eyes at me. The outfit is gorgeous!!! *sigh* I swear you are just the sexiest woman alive.

jensen- when i saw your name on the cast list i actually had to look you up cause i have no idea who jennifer lawrence is. then i saw you were in X men.
i actually think that this is a tad candid. i have very mixed feelings on what to think about it. on one hand it does show a cute vibe.
overall i think my reaction would be i love it when i see it but after digesting it more it leaves a bad aftertaste. in a competition based on high fashion shoots i think there are better options avalible
Allison: Oh Jenn... this isn't great for a freestyle shoot. What I like best is your eyes, you look very innocent and sweet. But, the quality is off and I would have loved to see full body. If you survive, try and put an emphasis on a strong pose.
Twiggy: I have mixed feelings about this. I love the natural, innocent look and the way you're looking at the camera but this photo seems candid and you're not modelling to me. I have no issue with the quality though.
Jared: Don't waste your time dude, just read about it online lol Anyway, I actually like this. You remind me of Tetyana Brazhnyk in this photo. I love it! You're definitely modeling with your face. I personally would have preferred full body for freestyle, but I like this a lot. Maybe because I can compare it to so many models I've actually played lol I don't know.

Jensen- I have mixed feelings here I'd of liked to see a full body shot but this is good too the connection to the camera is that and you do look good in this too

Twiggy: This is tad boring. Your avatar is much better than this photo. Full body photo would've been great but this is just not doing you any good. The only thing I like is the connection you have with the camera.
Jared: Yikes, ok, my problem here is that, even though you're connecting with the camera, unlike Jennifer, I dont' see modeling. I see a surprised expression. I love your hair, so I wish there was more to this.

Allison: This is really well done, Keira. I love your pose and your eyes. You look very elegant, good work!
Jensen: i think this might have been cooler in color and i think you as wel hit the bland expression thing thats going on this week
Twiggy: there's so much going on here. the over-styled hair, your hand pose, your eyes looking at the other direction and that awkward looking lips. The more I look at it, the more I hate it.
Jared: Oh Keira, this is perfect. The hand placements, the expression, the pose, I really love this. Might be the best of the bunch. Very high fashion, very nice job!!

Allison: I like how you incorporated your career into this, and you're still modelling. I like the pose a lot... but your expression makes you look like you need a hug. Not bad, however!
Jensen: i actually thought maybe you would branch out. i actually watch tennis so for me i wanted to see something other then tennis in the first shoot. this is decent but obvious for me
Twiggy: I like this, I like your pose, I like how we can see your long leg and how you incorporated your career in this photo. Other than that, you should improve on your expressions. Chin up a little!
Jared: GAH if I cut off your head this is good. Your pose is nice and your legs divine but your face/expression is so strung out and duh looking that I just can't enjoy those legs.

Jensen- resse this is an amazing freestyle you look gorgeous. I love the pose. You look like your waiting to get some lol. If I wasn't married you'd have me
Allison: Yes. Yes! YES! I am in love w/ this picture, Reese! You look beautiful, I love the pose... this is my favorite so far. The only complaint I would have is that your smile seems just a little bit weird, but that's a minor detail. Excellent job!
Allison: I like this photo a lot! you look stunning and I love the look you gave at the camera. Your smile is infectious.
Jared: This is cute. I love your smile. Very commercial. Except for the bright lighting, this is really really good.
Selena
Jensen: I really like this shot. The setting is great. The usage of your prop is good and quite frankly you look hot.i can't really find a lot wrong with it just by looking at it.
Allison: A problem a lot of you girls are having right now is your expression. I think here, it's just too dull and lifeless, which makes it distracting. I love the setting and your pose, though, so that makes up for it. Good job!
Twiggy: I love this. I love how you're modelling in this photo, how well you use the props and how much potential I can see in you moving forward. Great job!
Jared: Oh, this is just perfect!!!! Great job!! love the pose, the expression, the styling and props and setting. Very nicely done.

jensen- i think the cool thing about you is that your a new face for the most part and there is alot the can be used with that. you have the surprise effect no one else has. however this photo is only decent its good enough to make it to the next round but idk if its enough for this whole competition
Allison: I like that you took the risk by hiding half your face with your hair, it's different, which is always great because it makes you recognizable. Like I've been saying with a lot of the girls, your expression is a little weird. It makes me think you're about to fall off the chair. I like this overall, though, so good job!
Twiggy: I really like this a lot. I can feel that inviting feeling, mysterious and it draws my attention to you. I like your face in this too, good job!
Jared: This is almost great. It's good, just not great. Your pose should have been stiffened up slightly because you look slumped over like you're falling. And then your expression has a bit of surprise in there so it makes it look even more like you're falling. Your hands look kind of flopped into place. I know not everyone can model their hands like Du Juan lol But it helps to try a bit more. Otherwise, you look lovely and this isn't horrible. I really love your legs.

jensen-the logo is deffinitely a distraction with the photo but i do understand the quality of the photo thing. i actually dont have alot that i hate about this its very nice and different
Allison: I know from experience how the quality can be affected by removing watermarks, so I generally don't mind as much as some judges do. Not all of us are photoshop masters. For example, I was trying to remove a watermark for ATC and THIS was the result:

So don't worry too much .
With that being said, the quality is still a little off. I like your face though, it's very coy yet sweet, and i'm digging the pose.
Twiggy: This is a lil bit blaaah for me! not doing you any favour. I like your face and that's about it. Pretty much things I hate about this photo has been said by fellow judges. I hate your pose too, it seems like you just sat there with that unflattering dress.
Jared: Oh Yoona, this is cute, and I love Yoona. I dont' care about watermarks sweetie. As long as they aren't major distracting then I dont' care, and I didn't even notice until you pointed it out. You have the typical Asian hand modeling down. I like that. The pose itself is not great. The dress makes you look a bit frumpy. Other than those things, this is good.
